How to Return or Exchange an Item on ShopLocally

When it comes to returning or exchanging an item, you should contact the vendor from whom you made your purchase. Each vendor on ShopLocally independently manages their orders, including decisions regarding cancellations, refunds, and returns.

To contact the vendor, go to your Account page and click on the order # (to the left). Then, click on the Start Communication link to send a message.

How do refunds and returns operate on ShopLocally?

Vendors are not obligated to accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds unless explicitly outlined in the return policy specified on their listing.

Should the vendor agree to process a return, it's important to establish the terms and conditions through messaging before sending back the item.

What are listing policies?

Every ShopLocally vendor defines their own policies concerning refunds, exchanges, and returns for each item they offer for sale. Vendors have the flexibility to set various return policies or opt out of accepting returns. If you're purchasing multiple items from the same shop, it's wise to review the policies for each individual item you're interested in.

If you do not see any specific information about returns, then you should assume the item is not eligible for return.
